For our fifth grade girls: Eastside will be having open gyms for girls interested in basketball next year. They will be on Tuesdays from 5-7pm from now until the end of the school year. Everyone must have an updated sports physical to participate.
There is nothing like the excitement of smooshing a pie in the face of an adult. We kicked off Friday with Principal Hensley, who jumped right into action! She ensured our House winner music notes were accurate, completed a perimeter safety check, celebrated our House Point winners, and even popped into the library for an expectations check—leaving thoughtful feedback for a class along the way. 👏📚
In the afternoon, Principal Patel took over and kept the momentum going! She conducted a safety check, supported our School Store shoppers, sorted and delivered Daddy/Daughter dance flyers, and even delivered a music note to a House Point winner. 🛍️✨
Both of these amazing 4th grade leaders brought enthusiasm, responsibility, and a strong work ethic to their roles. Way to lead, ladies — we are so proud of you! 💜🐬

We loved spending time with our first Principal for an Hour since spring break — Principal Avery! She stayed busy from start to finish on Wednesday. 👏
