Since National Instructional Coach Day fell during Fall Break, we wanted to wait for today to celebrate our amazing coaches here in BCPS! This includes our Instructional Coaches, Digital Learning Coaches, and Special Education Instructional Coaches! 🎉
These dedicated professionals work tirelessly behind the scenes to support teachers, enhance classroom instruction, and drive innovation in learning. Whether it’s helping students with special needs, integrating technology, or empowering teachers to create engaging lessons, their expertise makes a lasting impact on our entire school community.

Fifth Grade Market was a success on Wednesday. The fruition of their business plans, product designs, supply orders, production, marketing, and sales made the event come to life. Our 2nd-4th grade students reaped the benefits as they shopped, purchasing their favorite products. It was a successful, fun filled afternoon!
During math time Mrs. Krish's students engaged in Inner/Outer Circle on Tuesday. The students had a blast while being accountable to complete the task in a timely manner. We love when engagement and learning is high!

Enjoyed some one-on-one Ballin' with Bickley time this morning with Teagan! She has some power behind her shots and challenged me to a fun game of Horse.

Bringing authentic engaging learning experiences into our classes is one of our goals at PGE. Mrs. Krish's class has been working on decimals and rather than worksheets, the students competed in a Decimal Duel and were rounding decimals through Ninja Course Races.
Last week our vertical buddies got together to get to know one another better and create puzzle masterpieces that are displayed in the hallways. Seeing our older learners work with our younger learners is what makes our community special❤️
Angel Tree information...
Last week our 4th graders were mastery learners as they wrapped up their unit on animal adaptations. They first chose an animal to research and then created a diorama that featured the animal’s habitat and adaptations. They also got the chance to be productive collaborators as they did a gallery walk and provided their peers with constructive feedback.
Our students and staff were treated to a sweet surprise today. Members of Church of the Crossroads spent time Sunday providing additional activities for students to utilize on the blacktop during recess. Thanks to their serving hearts we have brand new basketball nets, Four Square areas, hopscotch spaces, and 3 racing lanes. Thank you Church of the Crossroads for your service and time!
