Today Mrs. Krish's class learned about subtracting fractions with unlike denominators through a Huddle engagement activity.

Our Academic Team competed in their District competition this past Saturday. They did an absolutely amazing job and we are so proud of them! Our Quick Recall and our Future Problem Solving teams both placed 1st. The following students placed in individual written assessments and composition:
Composition- 1st place Braxton Buege, 3rd place Cameron Brown, and 4th place Jackson Tullbane
Language Arts- 1st place Christian Franklin
Arts and Humanities- 1st place Faith Davis and 2nd place Jacob Newton
Math- 2nd place- Sam Smith and 3rd place- Cameron Brown
Science- 3rd place Jackson Tullbane and 4th place Lane Fisher
Social Studies- 1st place- Christian Franklin and 2nd place Sam Smith
And our team won 1st place first overall in Districts.
Next stop is regionals!
PGE got 2nd Place at the Sacred Heart Academy All Heart Archery Tournament!!! This is the largest archery tournament in the state other than the KY State Archery Tournament. They shot a 2676 and Piper Baird got 1st Place for elementary girls! She shot a 275, the highest of all elementary boys & girls. We are so proud of our PGE archers!!!
The PGE girls basketball team had fun cheering on the University of Louisville women's basketball team vs. Notre Dame!

The Kentucky Science Center visited PGE for a high-voltage electricity program, Captain Current (Kentucky Science Center’s resident superhero),taught PGE students all about how electricity is generated and recruited them to become Energy Saving Cadets.

We normally don't make an announcement unless the there is a schedule change... but... after checking road conditions and consulting with the County Road Department and our Transportation department leadership...
