Eight BCPS seniors sat down for the latest Beyond the Bell episode to reflect on their K-12 journey: from the advice they'd give their kindergarten selves to the teachers who showed up when it mattered most.

The wisdom they shared? Journal the moments because time moves fast. Respect your teachers even when it's hard. Don't worry about making friends, you'll meet more people than you ever thought you could. And never underestimate the power of a chicken patty Tuesday.

These graduates didn't just move through BCPS. They navigated it with intention. They set goals, leaned on mentors, and owned their path from kindergarten to commencement. They looked back and knew exactly how they got here.

This is what it looks like to be a Self-Directed Navigator. Not just surviving K-12, but reflecting on the journey and recognizing the people and moments that shaped it.
