Today is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day! We appreciate our wonderful SRO Officer Priddy for all his hard work. He truly cares about ZMS students!

We are revamping our house system in full throttle this semester! We now have 4 houses that each correspond to our PACK values- Pride, Accountability, Courage, Kindness. Students can earn house points through demonstrating PACK values daily. These points are used to earn rewards for individuals and their houses. Ask your student about what house they belong to!

Before winter break, 8th grade students in Mrs. Thompson's Arts and Humanities classes designed and painted! We have some creative students at ZMS!

Hey ZMS students and families! Could you help us out?
We've noticed quite a few students are coming to school unprepared with missing or dead Chromebooks or missing chargers. It has always been the expectation that students take home their devices to charge every night. Every single student was provided a charger at the beginning of this school year. If they have lost it or let someone "borrow" it and didn't get it back, that is their responsibility. Chargers are around $15 on Amazon/Walmart. Search for "usb-c laptop charger". Check in with your students about this please! Thanks!

8th grade students and families, it's time to start thinking about the future of your soon to be high schooler! Want more information on the special programs BCPS has to offer? Come to the ATC/ROC Open House Tuesday 11/15!
