PRESCHOOL SCREENING DAY
When: Thursday, May 9th, 2024
Where: Elementary schools (except Nichols)
The Bullitt County at Risk Preschool Program is funded through the Kentucky Department of Education. It is available to four-year old children whose family income is no more than 160% of poverty level or for children that are three or four years old with developmental or speech delays, regardless of income. For a child to be eligible based on income they must be four (4) years of age on or before August 1, 2024. Please call Preschool Secretary Tonya Vogt at 869-8250 between 8:00 - 4:30 for information or to schedule an appointment time for your child on Screening Day May 9th, 2024.
Preschool is either Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday full day. Transportation is provided for eligible students. The session in which your child will be enrolled is determined by the bus routes and class schedule. You will be given this information by the teacher at your home visit in early August.

April 12,2024 8-3 Roby Head Start
April 19, 2024 8-3 Crossroads & Old Mill Head Start
April 26, 2024 8-3 Maryville Head Start
Head Start is a federally funded, comprehensive school readiness program for children that are three years old, from income eligible families. The child must be 3 years old by August 1st, 2024 to be screened on these days. Please call the Head Start Family Advocates between 8:00-4:00 for information or to schedule an appointment time for your child for their location's Screening Day.
