Megan Luckett
Statewide Spotlight: Celebrating Megan Luckett during FRYSC Week

It is a double celebration this week! As we observe FRYSC Week, we are beyond excited to announce that Megan Luckett, the Family Resource Center Coordinator for Roby and Nichols Elementary, has been chosen for the 2025 FRYSC IMPACT Report Spotlight!

This is a massive achievement. Out of more than 900 submissions from FRYSC centers across Kentucky, only 70 were selected for this year's Spotlight. Megan’s work is now being shared with legislators and stakeholders across the Commonwealth as a model of excellence.

Featured Program: "Knights on the Run: The Girls Movement"

Megan was recognized for her incredible work with 3rd–5th grade girls.

The Impact:

  • Resourcefulness: Megan secured the "Marathon Kids" curriculum and technology for free, ensuring our students had access to high-quality resources regardless of financial barriers.

  • 100% Success: Every single participant (100%) met their physical activity goals during the 8-week program.

  • Holistic Growth: 68% of the girls showed an increase in their self-assessment or GRAD scores, which measure Attendance, Behavior, Curriculum, and Stability.

  • Building Character: The program helped girls improve their self-esteem, set personal goals, and build positive relationships.

This honor demonstrates Megan's passion for her students and her professional skill in delivering programs with measurable results. Her dedication is a perfect example of why Family Resource and Youth Services Centers are so vital to our schools.

Congratulations, Megan Luckett! Your hard work at Roby and Nichols makes a difference every single day. This honor is well-deserved! 🏆✨
