Mr. Benet's welding students from our CRC program have designed and built bike racks. This started as a project with the Mount Washington City government and our students presented their designs to the city council on May 11th. On Thursday May 14th the city will be picking up their bike racks to install in the Lindsey Duvall Park located at 100 Newman Way in Mount Washington.
The project expanded to include bike racks that have been built for the city of Hillview and Shepherdsville as well. Our students learn so much when doing authentic projects like this for real customers. The students did a great job creating a presentation and communicating with members of the city council.
