We were incredibly impressed by the number of 5th grade students who applied to be a part of Safety Patrol this year. Thank you to every student who took the initiative to apply and showed a willingness to serve our school community. We had so many outstanding applicants that selecting this year's team was a very difficult decision.

Congratulations to the students selected for the 2026–2027 Safety Patrol Team! We are confident you will represent our school with responsibility, leadership, kindness, and respect. We look forward to seeing the positive impact you'll make throughout the school year.

Letters have been mailed to the families of our selected Safety Patrol members with information about our first meeting. We look forward to meeting with our new team, reviewing expectations, and preparing for a successful year of serving our school.

Please help us welcome our new Plant Manager, Collan Judd, to the Mt. Washington Elementary family! As our new Plant Manager, he will play an important role in helping keep our school safe, clean, and welcoming for our students, staff, and families.

The barrel was designed and crafted by our 1st graders along with guidance of the related arts team. They have the QR code in the middle of the tables along with pictures of the rain barrels. Come on Mt. Washington Elementary families and community. In a little over a month you have almost filled the recycling bin. With graduation and varies other celebrations and the 4th of July right around the corner we can fill this bin to the brim. So keep a bag or box for those empty beverage cans then bring them by the school to help us recycle and help save the Earth. 🌎 #EveryCanCounts
