Thank you for your patience and cooperation during car rider drop off and pick up. Please watch the staff directing traffic and follow their instructions. We want everyone safe during these times. Doors open at 7:50. Cars will remain parked until directed to move. The unloading zone is the sidewalk. Students will be released and cars will move when students have reached the sidewalk. Please exit your cars quickly to get traffic moving. Cars will move up and the next group of cars will stop and students will exit their cars. Staff members will stop and let cars know when to go. In the afternoon, pull up as close as you can to allow all cars to be in the parking lot in the afternoon. Below is the information posted for the first day of school- Car Rider Procedures: Safety is a top priority at MWMS! Morning car riders will enter through the side of the building. Pull forward as far as you can in two lines. Students will be released and enter the building at 7:50. Afternoon cars will enter the side parking lot from Erin Circle and Crossroads. Kevin Place (road between MWMS and Crossroads) will be blocked off at the pool at 3:00. There will be no entrance or through traffic. All cars must enter from Erin Circle. Cars will form several lines. There will be no parking on the street. Pull as far forward as possible. Students will be dismissed at 3:05. As soon as all buses have left the front parking lot, cars can exit in both directions on Kevin Place. We have received notification that Bus 1828 will have a sub driver this afternoon (Tuesday, August 18). Students who ride this bus, will have bus transportation home.

This summer, members of MWMS' EdRising Club went to the national conference. A short write-up was published in the KY Department of Education's newsletter. Super exciting for our students and teachers who made this happen!

Tech Essentials

Returning 7th & 8th Graders: Please remember to bring your school-issued device fully charged and ready for class tomorrow!

Drink & Refill Policy

In the Classroom: To prevent spills and keep focus high, only water is permitted in class. Please send students with a water bottle or a cup/bottle featuring a secure, closing lid.

Lunchtime Options: Students are welcome to bring soft drinks or sports drinks to enjoy during lunch in the cafeteria.

Prohibited Beverages: Students are not allowed to bring energy drinks and coffee on campus at any time.

Dress Code Reminders
