It's Read Across America Day! On National Read Across America Day, students, teachers, parents, and community members around the nation come together to read books and celebrate the joy of reading. We always hope to foster a love of reading in our Knights!

NES Weekly Attendance 2/21-2/24!
On Tuesday, we held our school wide STEM challenge, coordinated by Mrs. Ferrell! Students made teams of 3 or 4 to discuss, plan, and build. Their goal was to build a tall tower that could hold a rubber duck.

We wanted to share an awesome program with our families because you can earn an associates degree free through the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship! The WRKS program is available to college students who have not yet earned an associates degree and certain high school students who are enrolled in college coursework. Please see the attached photo for more information!

Our Safe Schools visit will be on March 14th. A team from EKU's Kentucky Center for School Safety will be visiting that day and talking with staff, students, and parents. On that day, the team will share the results of our Safe Schools Survey. Please take a few minutes to complete the Parent Survey below.
