Mrs. Schwartz's 5th grade students had a great fall party!
We had a great pajama day today! A student came to school today that didn't have pajamas on and was upset. Officer Baker came to the rescue and purchased him some pajamas and he was so excited! Tomorrow students can wear costumes but no masks, face paint or props.
We are celebrating Red Ribbon Week! We had several student and staff wearing red today. Tomorrow if pajama day! Student and staff can wear pjs with regular shoes. (No house shoes)
Kindergarten had a great field trip last week! They went to the Kentucky Railway Museum and were able to ride in a train.
We celebrated our students on Friday at our 1st Mustang Celebration of the school year. We had lots of awards to hand out to our students.

New Overdale Spirit Wear Fundraiser! All sales online and prices via the website below. Long sleeve tees, baseball hat, backpack, hoodies and tees are all available. All orders are due by November 19, 2024 at midnight. Once sale ends, these orders will be delivered to the school within 2 to 3 weeks.

Just reminding everyone that we are celebrating Red Ribbon and Safe Schools Week October 28-30 at Overdale!
We would love to welcome Ms. Kimberly Herps to Overdale. She will be our new kindergarten instructional assistant in Mrs. Romans' classroom.
Attention: 4th/5th grade families that are on the Archery team. **Mandatory** parent meeting will be this Thursday 10/24 at Overdale in order to take care of necessary paperwork and get all pertinent information for the season. First practice takes place this Wednesday 10/23 after school until 5:15. Thanks, Coach Geary

Store Manager Taylor brought a team of individuals today to donate their time and resources to clean up the landscaping, building "Buddy Benches", raised garden beds and a Gaga Pit for our students. They have also donated a washer and two dryers to Overdale.
Thank you Mrs. Tiffany Yates & Ms. Cathy McDonald for getting up at the crack of dawn on a Saturday morning to be at the school . You are appreciated!!!!
