We celebrated the Kind Kids and the Golden Tray Classroom for the month this afternoon. Our Mustang Meeting was very exciting. Everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving Break and come back ready to finish 2025 strong!

In Mrs. Romans' class, our youngest Mustangs are busy at work in their learning centers. They are mastering essential skills like reading, writing their first words, and counting to build their number sense.
They are also using technology to personalize their learning with i-Ready!

This weekend, fourth grader Lincoln Coates represented Overdale Elementary at the BCPS chess tournament at North Bullitt High School. Coates said he had fun, and we are proud of the way he represented our school.
As a reminder, anyone can join chess any time. The club meets after school on Tuesdays. There are still more tournaments coming, too! Anyone with questions or that wants to sign up for our club should email coach Brian Hester or call 502-869-2800.

Our 5th graders put their communication skills to the test today in ELA! Students practiced giving and receiving constructive feedback on their Narnia travel brochures 🗺️—learning how to celebrate strengths and suggest improvements kindly and thoughtfully.
It was amazing to see them collaborating, listening, and helping each other make their projects shine even brighter!
