Online registration is open for ALL students, both new and returning families!
✅ Every student must complete online registration before they can be placed on a class list for the upcoming school year. Completing registration early helps us finalize class placements, staffing, transportation, and prepare for a successful start to the year.
If you haven’t registered yet, please take a few minutes to complete it as soon as possible.

This week, a group of our incredible teachers spent their summer attending the KCM Numeracy Counts training, investing their time in strengthening math instruction and discovering new strategies to support every learner.

This week, Mrs. Melcher, our school counselor, attended the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Annual Conference, where she joined thousands of school counselors from across the country to learn, collaborate, and bring back the latest strategies to support student success!

Our Koalas are proving that learning doesn’t stop when summer begins!
This group of amazing Koalas (and one future Kindergarten Koala! 🐨💙) recently competed at Dance Nationals in Fort Walton Beach, where they put our Graduate Profile into action.
💗 Productive Collaborators – They encouraged one another, worked as a team, and celebrated each other’s successes every step of the way.
💚 Mastery Learners – Months of practice, perseverance, and dedication helped them master their routines and perform on the national stage.
We are so proud to see our students taking the skills they build at Old Mill beyond the classroom and into their passions. Whether they’re competing, creating, serving, exploring, or learning something new, our Koalas continue to show what it means to be lifelong learners.

🚪 Doors open at 8:50 AM
✨ Drop-Off: Families will walk their kindergarten student into the building each morning.
🚗 Pick-Up: Students will be dismissed through our car rider line. We will be practicing this routine with students throughout camp, so please display your car rider tag in your front windshield where staff can easily see it.
👟 What to Wear: Please send your child in play clothes and tennis shoes so they can comfortably participate in all of our activities.

As we get ready to welcome our students back for another amazing school year, we need your help getting our campus looking its very best!

We’re hoping for all hands on deck as we work together to spruce up our landscaping and outdoor spaces before the first day of school. Whether you can stay for the full two hours or just stop by for a little while, every helping hand makes a difference!
If you have gardening tools, shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, pressure washers, or other landscaping equipment you’re willing to bring or let us borrow, we’d be incredibly grateful.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and help create a beautiful environment for our students and staff as they begin a new year.
