We’re excited to celebrate Emma Walker and Molly Kaufman for modeling what it means to be Innovative Problem Solvers, a key competency in the Bullitt County Graduate Profile!
These two teammates faced physical setbacks this season, but instead of letting that hold them back, they adapted, encouraged one another, and helped lead their team to a championship victory. 💪🏆
Emma’s parent shared how proud they were of the way Emma and Molly stayed determined and worked through challenges with grit and grace. Their leadership and problem-solving on and off the field truly made an impact.
Being an Innovative Problem Solver means analyzing situations, adjusting based on feedback, and developing solutions that move a team forward, and that’s exactly what these girls did.

Ms. Wells is known for creating meaningful connections, whether it's bonding with her students or being a familiar, kind face as students return to her classroom years later. One family recalled how their older daughter, a former student, still stopped by for a hug every morning when dropping off her younger sister. 💕

Today’s shoutout comes from a proud Koala parent, celebrating her daughter Amelia for showing what it truly means to be an Effective Communicator! 💬💛
Her mom shared that Amelia utilized her graduate profile strengths to earn a spot in a leadership program at Jiu-Jitsu, where she now leads with kindness, communicates with confidence, and ensures everyone feels included. At school, she’s asking deeper questions, showing a new curiosity for learning, and even writing down and arriving early for her NTI meetings.
In her mom’s words: “These graduate profile competencies have just helped my seven-year-old become a better human inside and outside of school.” 🥹

What a night! Camp KOAla was a big hit, and our hearts are full after seeing so many of our Koala families laughing, playing, and making memories together. From swimming and tie-dye to just soaking up the simple joys, it was the kind of night that reminds us what community is all about. 💛

📣 Tomorrow is the big night—Camp KOAla is here! Join us Tuesday, June 24th from 6–8 PM at the KOA Campground (2433 Hwy 44 E, Shepherdsville) for an evening of summer fun!
There will be swimming, yard games, the jump pad, a playground, and Galan’s food truck! The first 50 kids will get a FREE tie-dye kit and shirt! 💦🎨
Admission is free—we can’t wait to see you there!
