Second grade had an unforgettable day with Roman as our Teacher for the Day! He stepped into the role with confidence and enthusiasm, leading the class with ease. Roman even brought his own prizes to reward students who followed expectations, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day!
He did a fantastic job leading our SEL lesson and teaching a math lesson on telling time. Throughout the day, Roman modeled our Koala expectations—celebrating successes, showing respect, staying efficient, being accountable, encouraging teamwork, and showing empathy to his classmates. His leadership and dedication truly stood out, making this a day to remember. Way to go, Roman!

He was a team player making sure all his classmates got a chance to shoot the ball and when the other team lost the ball while dribbling accidently he passed it right back to the other team to try again and kept playing! He was a great example of how we treat everyone with kindness and a great team player!" -Mrs. Foushee
