1st Day of School Information: T'was the night before the first day of school and the excitement is brewing... Our kindergarten families are the only ones that will be able to enter the building to walk their child to class. Kindergarten families wanting to walk their child to class will need to show their ID, sign in at our front entrance, and then walk their child to their class. We ask that our kindergarten families walk your child to the classroom, give a great big bear hug, and then quickly make your exit. We have observed that there are less tears when families make a quick exit. Name Tags: If your family is new to PGE or any family that is worried about their child finding their way, we ask that you place a label on your child's shirt the first day identifying who the student is, grade level, and teacher. This will help our staff quickly guide our students to where they need to go and provide some familiarity by calling the student by their name. We are not asking for anything elaborate or fancy and will not require your child to wear it all day. We want to be as helpful and proactive as possible so that all our students have an incredible first day of school. Transportation: Please make sure that you have shared with your child's teacher how your child is getting home on the first day and for the rest of the year. If you have not communicated this with the teacher, please send a note letting the teacher know. For students riding the bus, be sure to include the address of where your child is being dropped off. We are looking forward to a phenomenal year at PGE and cannot wait to see all the smiling faces tomorrow, Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Doors will open at 8:30 am to let the fun begin!

Congratulations to three of our PGE Dolphins who were on a softball team that just won the USFA 8u World Series in Panama City last week!! Blakely Akridge Raelee Clary Faith Davis 8 of the 11 girls in the team are BCPS students!!

Have no fear families you haven't missed class list information. PGE class lists will go live on August 1st through parent portal. If your Infinite Campus Parent Portal, aka IC, is not active please call the Online Registration hotline at 502-869-6574 to ensure you will be able to access your child's class assignment. Keep an eye out for more information to come soon!
