Mrs. Schneider's first graders shared their narrative pieces with their 3rd grade buddies in Mrs.Fluhr's class. Once that was finished they worked together on a holiday craft. Mentoring, community, and collaboration💜🐬
Our fifth graders had a great time at their 9 week celebration today, as well as having a math snowball fight!
This lovely young lady helped me greet classes this morning and did a great job!
Ballin' with Bickley was extra special today as our SPLASH ticket winners brought a pal. We had siblings, teammates, and friends. It was a close girls vs boys game and a fun time for all!! These mornings make my day!

My morning was made brighter with some Ballin' with Bickley time! This crew was full of shot callers and cheerleaders making sure we all had fun😊
It's rivaly week and 291 students participated in our UofL vs. UK Beanstack reading challenge, logging 31,559 minutes from November 20-December 4. UK narrowly beat UofL in the number of readers 151 to 140, while UofL readers 16,955 logged minutes beat UK's 14,604 logged minutes. Students who read for at least 60 minutes during the challenge were eligible to win UofL or UK swag. Twenty students (10 per team) were drawn and went home with prizes, but everyone who enjoyed a good book can consider themselves winners!
