Congratulations to Roby Elementary's teacher of the year, Mrs. Carol Milby! See the following excerpt from her nomination:
"Ms. Milby has a heart for the work that she does. She truly loves the all students and meets them where they are. She is patient when a child is struggling, and when they are successful, she is the first to celebrate. Her nurturing spirit allows for both mistakes and growth as students have the courage and desire to try hard things. As her colleague, I know that no matter what question I might have, I can always ask her for guidance, and she will happily answer what she can or lead me to someone who has that answer. At the end of the day, even after putting so much of herself into our students and staff, Ms. Milby continues to lead on our SBDM and as a department leader. We loved honoring our community veterans at our annual Veterans Breakfast this morning. Our Beta Club and Caregivers did a wonderful job honoring our veterans during a small ceremony. We thank all of our guests for joining us and for their service to our country.
