"This past weekend the Chess Team went to the 11th Annual Bullitt Lick Middle School Chess Invitational. There were many schools from the area there. Our team was complimented on their good sportsmanship and behavior during the tournament. This was our first official tournament of the season and we did very well. Our K-3 team won 3rd place as a team. Nolan J. took 9th place as an individual. Our K-5 team took 4th place as a team. Mason B. took 7th place as an individual. Iḿ so very proud of how the entire team did individually and as a team. I can't wait to see where they go from here!' - Ms. Bruffy
