Our THRIVE Academy for new teachers is still going strong! Last week, our new teachers gathered to focus on goal setting and team building. They were able to share successes and areas of growth from the first half of the year and also discussed their goals for the spring semester. Our THRIVE Coaches strategically connected interns so that they can continue to build a support system amongst each other as they move through the remainder of the year. #MovingForward #BCPSSharedAccountability

We recently featured CGES 5th grader, Elvis, in a Beyond the Bell segment with Dr. Bacon. In his video, Elvis mentioned that his goal was to get a computer. We had an extremely generous, anonymous community member step in and take care of that for him! Both Elvis and his family were VERY appreciative of this kind donation and we are blown away by how much our community loves our kids! ICYMI, you can check out his video spotlight here: https://youtu.be/dNARWIirutI #MovingForward #BCPSSharedAccountability

Your child's teacher will be in touch with additional information, but as always, please reach out to them if you have questions about what their school day will look like tomorrow.
