🌟 Understanding Others is the key to great leadership! 🌟
Today, we learned that leaders take time to listen, care, and think about how others feel. 💬💛
When we practice empathy, we become better teammates, friends, and problem-solvers.
Let’s Level Up by showing kindness through understanding, every day!

Mrs. Siegel’s class practiced teamwork through the Spaghetti STEM Challenge. Students built their structures twice—after the first attempt, they reflected on what went well, what needed improvement, and how to be productive collaborators. Using their new strategies, they made adjustments and worked together more effectively during the second round.

🌟 Leadership Starts with Me! 🌟
Today we learned that great leaders take responsibility for their actions and choices. 💪

When we own our behavior, show respect to our coaches and teachers, and stay open to learning, we LEVEL UP our leadership! It’s not always easy to lead, but it always starts with us. Let’s choose to lead with integrity every day!

Today’s shout-out goes to our kindergarten teachers and instructional assistants!

Our cafeteria manager, Ms. Robin, wanted to recognize the great work you’re doing to help students learn lunchroom procedures, clean up after themselves, and take pride in keeping our café a welcoming space.

You’re modeling the BCPS core value of Shared Accountability in action—and it’s making a big difference!

We are so thankful for the continued love and support from Kings Baptist! Not only do they keep our staff fueled with good food and coffee, but they consistently go above and beyond to show care for both our kids and staff. This year, they are launching a new initiative where their members will “adopt” classrooms—offering encouragement and support throughout the year.
