Dear Roby Parents,
We are seeking nominations for a parent representative to serve on our School-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council. The SBDM council includes the principal, teachers, and parents and plays an important role in decisions that support student achievement and school operations.
We are holding a special election for a minority parent representative, as required by Kentucky law.
Eligible parents include biological parents, step-parents, foster parents, or legal guardians who reside with the child. Parents who are school or district employees (or relatives of employees) are not eligible to serve.
Nominations are due by 5:00 PM on Monday, March 23 using the linked form. If nominations are received, voting will take place Thursday, March 26, from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in the front office. If no nominations are received, additional nomination and election dates will follow.
If you are interested or know someone who would be a great fit, please consider submitting a nomination. Your involvement makes a difference! CLICK HERE to submit a nomination!
Please reach out if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Hannah Ross

To wrap up our celebration of Kindness Week, Miss Kentucky came to speak to us about showing kindness to our communities through the importance of agriculture and kindness to our bodies through nutrition and overall wellness. Her inspiring message encouraged us all! 👑💗
Through a partnership with Kentucky Department of Agriculture, we were able to offer this presentation FREE to all students in grades K-5.

Did you correctly guess the Roby teacher?

We want to give a shout out to one of our Roby caregivers, who is celebrating her birthday today!

The Beta Club is partnering with Mrs. Patterson in the library as the 5th grade reads Shiloh, they would like to help the pets in our community. We are asking for donations to help the pets at our Bullitt County Animal Shelter. There is a box placed in the front hallway by the Kindness Tree for anyone who would like to bring any of the suggested items.
Thank you for helping our furry friends!

⭐️Kindness week is here!⭐️
Today we “dreamed of kindness” in our pajamas. Thanks to our wonderful PTA we also began highlighting students random acts of kindness and compliments with this beautiful tree. We challenge everyone to show a little extra kindness to those around them this week.
Tomorrow is “crazy for kindness”. Students may wear crazy hair and/or socks.
